 In January 2016, the WWAR team came back to the VAM to move 968 to a new indoor home at the Science Museum of Virginia in downtown Richmond. Click here for an incredible time-lapse video of how the display area was prepared, and how they managed to get 968 to and into the back of the museum.   968 is the only suspended blackbird on display anywhere. Every other blackbird not resting on its own landing gear is supported on stilts from below.  |
