U.S. Air Force Retired Master Sgt. Robert Bragg and Sgt. Tom Lacey are reunited with KC-135R/T aircraft #58-0117 on September 24, 2013. Bragg and Lacey performed ground maintenance on this particular KC-135R/T as early as 1967 while stationed at Beale AFB, California. The two recalled memories and shared stories with their counterparts from the 171st Air Refueling in Pittsburgh PA. where the aircraft is still in service today. 44 years have passed since Bragg and Lacey saw each other last. Bragg learned the 171st Air Refueling Wing had the KC-135R/T he once maintained while attending an airshow near Pittsburgh, PA. Bragg posted a story on a KC-135Q website where Lacey found it. Lacey shorty contacted the 171st Public Affairs office and requested if the two could visit the base. (full story here).
